On November 15, 2024, the Chatfield Reservoir Mitigation Company (CRMC) began a new phase of selective tree removal as part of the Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project. Depending on ice and ground conditions, reservoir elevation, weather, and other factors, tree removal activities could continue through early spring 2025.

The Chatfield Reservoir Mitigation Company (CRMC) proudly announces that it has achieved its full multi-purpose water storage capacity of 20,600 acre-feet in Chatfield Reservoir. This significant milestone marks the first time the Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project (Project) has reached its new operational high level of 5,444 feet following the final authorization by the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) in May 2020.

In order to perform roadway repairs on a portion of Perimeter Road west of Gravel Ponds and Kingfisher Day Use Areas, traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic beginning Monday, May 17th, 2021 at 7:00am and lasting until Friday, May 21st, 2021 at 5:00pm.
