Perimeter Road from West Entrance to Kingfisher is Open!

As of Friday afternoon, June 15, 2018, the new Perimeter Road from Chatfield State Park's West Entrance off of Wadsworth Boulevard to Kingfisher Day Use Area is open.

As of Friday afternoon, June 15, 2018, the new Perimeter Road from Chatfield State Park’s West Entrance off of Wadsworth Boulevard to Kingfisher Day Use Area is open.  The opening of the road reestablishes the connection between the Park’s west and east sides.

Please keep in mind that the Swim Beach, Jamison, Catfish Flats, and Fox Run Day Use Areas remain closed.  As this area remains an active construction site, please obey all posted signs and barriers.

Beginning the night of June 17, 2018 through June 28, 2018, the Perimeter Road from Swim Beach to the Heron Viewing Area will be CLOSED NIGHTLY from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am.  Please adhere to this closure as heavy construction activities will be occurring during the nightly closures.
