Fish, Wildlife and Recreation Mitigation Plan

The Fish, Wildlife and Recreation Mitigation Plan identifies actions Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project participants will implement to mitigate unavoidable adverse impacts the project will have on fish, wildlife, and recreation. The plan was approved unanimously by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission January 9, 2014, and by the Colorado Water Conservation Board January 28, 2014.

The plan addresses impacts in-reservoir along with upstream and downstream impacts. The in-reservoir impacts are addressed through an operations plan, fluctuation zone mitigation, water quality adaptive management and an environmental pool.
