Beginning at 6:00 am Saturday, June 1, 2019, the new Marina docks, South Boat Ramp, and boat parking lot will be reopened. As a reminder, all boats must be inspected before launching for Aquatic Nuisance Species. Please visit Chatfield State Park’s Boating webpage at: https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/Chatfield/Pages/Boating.aspx for more information.
We strongly recommend all public boaters continue to use the North Boat Ramp until the remaining landside parking lots and amenities are completed.
Please see the below breakdown of the reopenings as well as a description of what will remain closed:
Docks: The new docks will be open to the Marina’s slip renters. As permanent fuel and sanitary removal facilities will not be available until mid-July 2019, temporary fuel and sanitary lift facilities will be provided until the permanent facilities are completed. We encourage all boaters to fill their fuel tanks prior to launching as temporary fuel services may not be immediately available.
South Boat Ramp and Boat Parking Lot: The South Boat Ramp and boat parking lot will be open for trailered boat access only (no shoreline access). Temporary parking areas for Marina slip renters will be provided to access their boats. We strongly encourage public boaters to use the North Boat Ramp until all remaining parking lots and amenities are completed at the Marina.
Remaining Landside Facilities: All remaining landside facilities at the Marina will remain closed. Car parking lots, trails, picnic areas, and landscaping are anticipated to be completed by July 3, 2019.
