US Army Corps of Engineers Provides Letter of Authorization for Recreational Modifications

On December 6, 2017, the United States Army Corps of Engineers provided a Letter of Authorization for the Chatfield Reservoir Mitigation Company to proceed forward with the modifications of the recreational facilities along Chatfield Reservoir. Modifications of the recreational facilities will begin soon and will continue through March 2020.

Chatfield State Park will remain open during construction, but various day-use facilities, roadways, and trails will need to be closed at times for construction activities. Please check the Construction Updates landing page for updates on construction and various closures throughout the park.
