Herbicides Applied Near Titan Lake, Lower Titan Lake, and Cigar Lake

Chatfield Reservoir Mitigation Company would like for the public to be aware that on Thursday May 10th and Friday May 11th, 2018, herbicides will be applied south of the Gravel Ponds near Titan Lake, Lower Titan Lake, and Cigar Lake.

The purpose of the spray application is to stop the growth of unwanted grasses and weeds prior to environmental mitigation work commences in the area.  The treated areas will be marked and notices will be posted at key locations to let park users know about the herbicide applications in the area.

For your safety, please stay away from the treated areas until the applications have dried.  Thank you for your cooperation.
